Brian Ormsby, MS, LPC, NCC

Now Accepting Clients

Brian Ormsby is a Licensed Professional Counselor with more than 20 years of experience in behavioral health, clinical leadership, and direct client care. He brings a calm, grounded presence to therapy and is passionate about helping individuals navigate life transitions, emotional challenges, and personal growth in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Brian has extensive experience working with adolescents and adults and particularly connects well with teenagers and individuals seeking a practical, straightforward approach to counseling. While many male clients feel more comfortable working with a male therapist, Brian welcomes clients of all genders and backgrounds.

He works primarily with teens (ages 13+) and adults and does not currently treat young children under age 12 or individuals with autism spectrum disorders, developmental disabilities, traumatic brain injuries, or neurocognitive disorders such as Alzheimer’s disease.

Throughout his career, Brian has provided therapy across outpatient, inpatient, and crisis settings. In addition to his clinical work, he has served in senior leadership roles overseeing large behavioral health programs, which has strengthened his understanding of complex mental health needs, systems of care, and evidence-based treatment planning.

Brian’s therapeutic style is collaborative and client-centered. He believes therapy works best when the counselor and client develop goals together, using ongoing feedback to shape treatment in a way that feels effective, respectful, and empowering.

He offers daytime and limited evening availability and is comfortable communicating through secure messaging and text for scheduling needs.
