Kyle Shinn is a Licensed Professional Counselor who works with adolescents, adults, and families navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and relationship challenges. Kyle provides a calm, thoughtful, and practical approach to therapy, helping clients gain clarity, develop effective coping strategies, and move forward with greater confidence and purpose.

Kyle has extensive experience working in community mental health and residential treatment environments, supporting individuals facing complex emotional and life challenges. His background includes working with trauma survivors, families navigating difficult dynamics, and clients seeking deeper understanding around identity, purpose, and meaning in life.

Kyle earned his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Baylor University and his Master of Science in Community Mental Health Counseling from Oklahoma State University–Tulsa. Throughout his career, he has served in leadership roles within clinical teams while continuing to provide direct therapeutic care to individuals and families.

Kyle’s therapeutic style is supportive, direct, and collaborative. He believes therapy works best when clients feel safe, understood, and motivated to grow. He works closely with clients to understand patterns that may be keeping them stuck and to develop practical tools that create meaningful, lasting change.

Kyle has experience supporting individuals and families across many backgrounds, including grief and loss, anger management, relationship stress, and major life adjustments.
